Who We Are
Credit Unions Kids at Heart® was founded in 1996 by Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union and a small group of Massachusetts credit unions to leverage the collective impact of credit union charitable efforts and as a reflection of the industry’s belief in collaboration in service of a greater good. Today, Credit Unions Kids at Heart is a favorite philanthropic activity of the credit union community and has the support of participating credit unions and several sponsors and business partners across the nation.
What We Support
The organization and its dedicated supporters are committed to funding research activities aimed at the prevention, treatment, and/or cure of pediatric neurological diseases. Your contributions will support research and clinical at Boston Children’s Hospital led by Dr. Edward Smith and Dr. Scellig Stone. These studies focus on Cerebral Palsy, Moyamoya disease, and Epilepsy and seizure disorders. Their medical innovations, treatment breakthroughs, and new diagnostic tools serve children and adults worldwide.
The Challenge
Through April 19, 2021, Credit Unions Kids at Heart is holding its All-Ability Challenge, a virtual celebration of health and kindness. Participants will walk, run, roll/race, cycle, and commit acts of kindness to raise money for these research directives.
