Last year, I watched my mom cross the finish line in New York with a smile on her face, and I knew I wanted to be a part of an event as impressive and impactful as a marathon.
On November 4th, I will be running the New York Marathon to raise money for The Maggie Ryan Foundation at Boston Children’s Hospital
To me, the marathon represents a chance to test myself physically, to run in a race that I have always admired. But beyond the physical element, this race is also about community. Whether it’s elite runners who live for the sport, weekend warriors who are running for all sorts of causes, or the fans who come to line the streets and cheer on the runners, a marathon needs them all. Now I have a chance to join thousands of other runners who are dedicated to something bigger than themselves.
I’m asking for your support. If you can, please donate to my campaign to show your support for the work done by the incredible people at Boston Children’s Hospital. By doing so, you are joining the ranks of supporters who believe in providing better healthcare for children around the world and help make the marathon as monumental an event as it is.
