Val Vibes Tribe
Val Vibes Tribe - in memory of Valerie Martinelli
Valerie Martinelli, mother of Krysta-Lyn Martinelli and aunt of Phylicia Proulx (maiden - Denson) lost a year-long battle to stage four lung cancer in December of 2013, 16 days after her 50th birthday. Valerie was the matriarch of her entire family and the definition of a lady. She was a class act and respected, loved and leaned on by every friend and family member she had. Krysta and Phylicia both have struggled over the years since their loss with anxiety, depression and PTSD caused by her devastating passing. Over the past year, they both have discovered their love for yoga and the sense of peace and strength they have gained since starting their practice. It truly has been a light in their life, a miracle, helping both of them mentally, spiritually, and physically.
While the mission of Yoga Reaches Out is to provide wellness (yoga, meditation, counseling, etc.) to families and children of the sick children at Boston Children's, Krysta and Phylicia, as the children of Valerie, know from first hand experience the importance of yoga in anyone's life (sickness or health). Please consider donating in Valerie's memory, to help others find peace and strength. Please also consider taking up yoga!
We'd love to share our experiences with you <3 Peace, Love, Namaste - Krysta and Phylicia
