My name is Carson Domey. I am 13 years old and I have Crohn’s disease. In 2013 I started being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital for Crohn’s. From the moment I stepped through the doors at Boston Children’s Hospital I felt apart of a community, something that was bigger than myself. All of the doctors and nurses work tirelessly to ensure the patients receive the best experience that every patient deserves. I saw all of these amazing healthcare workers doing so many amazing things at the hospital and I wanted to give back. There was a perfect answer to my call, the Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital. In our first year we raised $13,000. In four years Carson’s Crew has raised approximately $60,000.
This year Carson’s Crew is dedicating our funds to my doctor, Dr. Michael Docktor’s research and innovation projects. This year we want to break all of our fundraising charts. We want to raise $50,000 in one year. Not only does Dr. Docktor’s amazing projects benefit myself, the patient, but also the other hundreds of thousands of patients that visit Boston Children’s Hospital daily. Thank you for your support and please consider making a donation, every dollar counts!
