Moving for Meriden
Team "Moving for Meriden" is in dedication to our daughter, Meriden Chantelle Morin. Meriden was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), type 1 at the age of 5 months old. Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a rare genetic disorder that takes away a person's ability to move their body, swallow, and even breathe. Boston Children's Hospital has an amazing SMA program with doctors dedicated to treating the condition at every level. Meriden is being treated by some of the best and we hope to give back in any way we can.

It's all about teamwork! And our team is united in support of Eversource Walk for Boston Children's Hospital because we want to help patients get the care they need.
Boston Children's Hospital is ranked #1 in more specialties than any other pediatric hospital by U.S. News & World Report. Here are a few reasons why:
- The hospital's patient care programs provide the best, most innovative care possible.
- Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
- Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care--more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
- Community programs makes a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's really understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses.
