Team Leo Aaron
We walk to support the staff, nurses, doctors, and all the children that receive amazing care and expertise from world-renown doctors. We are lucky to live 30 minutes away from the best care for our children. When I feel that Leo is looking pale, we drive 15 minutes away to the Waltham lab where they know Leo and they know to draw blood from his left hand. Because of the friendliness and ease of the nurses and doctors, Leo has no fear of the hospital, doctor’s office or labs. When I have a question, I email or call the office and someone calls me back the same day. We have met people from around the world and across the nation at Boston Children’s Hospital, there are kids much sicker than Leo, so we walk to support them and their families as well.
Leo’s journey isn’t over and we are still in the process of figuring out the cause of his internal bleeding, but we know, we have the best team of doctors to figure out his mystery.
We are so thankful for all our family and friends who ask about Leo and support us emotionally through this time. Please support Childrens Hospital as we have had very good experiences with their staff, nurses and doctors.
Love, Esther, Jonathan, Leo, Maya and Auntie Mimmy
