Boston Children's Hospital Corporate Cup
What is the Boston Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup?
The Corporate Cup promotes fun and friendly competition among the business community through a series of field day events, while raising funds for Boston Children’s Hospital. Teams compete for points in activities that include basketball knockout, plank challenge, obstacle courses, corn toss and more. Companies tell us the fun-filled day boosts teamwork and wellness, and makes their people proud to support an amazing cause. The day ends with a party to celebrate and announce the winners!
Who can participate?
The Corporate Cup is open to teams of up to 20 employees from Corporations, small and large businesses. Each company is limited to two teams.
How do I participate?
If your company already has a team and captain, you can join the team.
Interested in starting a team? Register as a team captain.
What are the events?
You can view the events list here.
Why should we participate?
Team building: It’s your company competing against others.
Networking: Rub elbows with your work friends, and those in other industries, at our post-event reception.
Do good: Align your company and its employees with a world-class institution, Boston Children’s Hospital, and raise money for the kids.
Bragging rights: Give a shot at taking one awesome trophy back to the office and a year’s worth of bragging rights.
How do I form a team?
The team captain will create a team during the registration process and recruit up to 20 employees to be part of their team.
What should I do next?
As a team captain, invite colleagues to join your team by having them register online. The team captain will be responsible for recruiting (up to 20 employees per team), managing communications to the team, and ensuring day of activity assignments. Captains may also participate in event day activities if they choose.
Participants will get a bib number and a t-shirt, along with all of the necessary information to get you through event day.
How do others join my team?
All team members must register to participate in the Corporate Cup. During registration, participants can join your team by searching for and choosing the team's name. Registered team captains will also find recruitment tools in their fundraising center.
Why is a team captain required?
Team captains will manage communication to the team, day of activity assignments and all the necessary information to get you through event day. Each team is allowed up to two team captains.
Why should I fundraise?
Even though your company is supporting the entry fee, we do hope that participants will go the extra mile and fundraise on their own. Fundraising is strongly encouraged but not required. We are happy to provide you with the fundraising tools to reach out to your network and ask for donations to support the kids at Boston Children’s Hospital.
What is the fundraising minimum?
The suggested fundraising minimum per participant is $200. We want to make your fundraising endeavors easy and fun. We give you all the tools you need to succeed, including an online fundraising page and support from a Boston Children’s Hospital staff member.
What are the incentives for fundraising?
Top fundraisers and top fundraising teams will also receive incentives as a token of our appreciation for raising money for the kids. Learn more »
