Healing little Hearts to benefit Pediatric Cardiac Research at Boston Children's Hospital
I started HEALING little HEARTS in June 2007 along with my husband, Marc and our daughter, Jillian, and inspired by our son, Brady. Brady, now 11 years old, was born with two congenital heart defects and has spent many days and nights at Boston Children's Hospital. As a parent it is an extremely helpless feeling not to be able to make your child better, take away the pain or walk the road of challenges for them. This has been our outlet...our way to make a difference. Among many of the things we have learned during this difficult time, is our desire to give back to Boston Children's Hospital and to help the many children who also depend on the life-saving care given at Children's. Healing little Hearts helps to fund the research at Boston Children's for a tissue-engineered heart valve...a valve that will grow with a child and eliminate the need for repeat & risky open-heart surgereies. To date, Healing little Hearts has raised over $1,000,000 for this life-saving research.
Healing little Hearts continues to hold fundraising events to support the valuable research being done at Boston Children's Hospital with the hopes of improving the lives of children with congenital heart defects. We are grateful for every donation and your support is very much appreciated! For questions or to be placed on the mailing list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Donations are also accepted right here on this page. Thank you for giving hope to little hearts!
